Our Programs: The Path of the Sprout
Learning at Aaranyakk is an organic process that imitates the powerful, step-by-step growth we see in nature. The unstoppable flow of nature is reflected in the development of a child hence, our curriculum is built around our infrastructure inspired by the ecosystem.
Every program is a unique ‘growth zone’ a seed finds itself in, where children are nurtured metaphorically through the Path of the Spout.
Based on the NEP, we offer five stages in the critical foundational block for children aged 3 to 8 years of age, as follows:
THE SEEDS PROGRAM (Pre-Nursery: 3–4 Years)
In the Seeds Program, children begin their journey of discovery through play, sensory exploration, movement, and meaningful interactions with their environment. Inspired by the NEP’s emphasis on play-based learning, we nurture curiosity, confidence, and emotional security while developing early communication and motor skills. Like a seed taking root, every child is gently supported as they learn to explore the world around them.
THE SPROUTS PROGRAM (Nursery: 4–5 Years)
As children grow into sprouts, they begin making connections through stories, music, art, nature experiences, and collaborative play. This stage focuses on language development, social-emotional learning, and foundational cognitive skills through hands-on and experiential activities. We encourage children to ask questions, investigate ideas, and develop a love for learning that grows naturally from their curiosity.
THE SEEDLINGS PROGRAM (Kindergarten: 5–6 Years)
In the Seedlings Program, children strengthen their foundations in early literacy, numeracy, communication, and creative expression. Following the NEP’s holistic approach, learning is integrated across disciplines and enriched through exploration, problem-solving, and project-based experiences. As seedlings reach toward the sun, children develop independence, resilience, and confidence in their abilities.
THE SAPLINGS PROGRAM (Class 1: 6–7 Years)
The Saplings Program supports children as they transition into more structured learning while preserving the joy of discovery and exploration. Emphasis is placed on strengthening reading, writing, numeracy, critical thinking, and collaborative skills through experiential and contextual learning. Like young saplings growing stronger each day, children develop the confidence to engage with increasingly complex ideas and experiences.
THE FLOWERING PROGRAM (Class 2: 7–8 Years)
In the Flowering Program, children build deeper understanding, creativity, and problem-solving abilities while continuing to learn through meaningful, real-world experiences. Aligned with the NEP’s vision of holistic and competency-based education, this stage encourages independent thinking, effective communication, and responsible citizenship. Just as a flower blossoms into its full potential, children emerge as confident, compassionate, and capable learners ready for the next stage of their educational journey.
